I read the short bio of him. He sounds like a bit of a sensational show off. Yet he is a leading figure in the literary world for a reason. I have printed off the essay and will read it sometime today.
ReplyDeleteWhen I took a class with him, he was very approachable. A good listener. Not at all pushy. I went to see him frequently during his office hours, but didn't see him outside of the school setting. I like the fact that he uses his talents in the service of noble causes.
